An American musician from Providence, Rhode Island, and is best known as being the current lead vocalist of the metalcore band Killswitch Engage and also for being the vocalist for the stoner rock/heavy metal band Seemless, the hardcore metal band The Empire Shall Fall and Times of Grace.




July 3, 1959 Stephen Eric Pearcy was born, known as Stephen Pearcy, an American vocalist, best known as the former lead singer of the metal band Ratt (lead vocals:1976–1992, 1996–2000, 2006–2014; guitar 1976–1981, 1997).




July 3, 1971 singer Jim Morrison (aged 27), is found dead in Paris. The official cause of death was listed as "heart failure".




July 3, 1969 Brian Jones is found dead in a pool , was an English musician, a multi-instrumentalist, the founder and the original leader of the Rolling Stones.
